Glenn M. Lyon is an AV-rated Preeminent business attorney who specializes in providing legal services to small and medium-sized, privately-held businesses and start-up companies. He has been recognized for his outstanding work in the legal field, including being named 2020 Volunteer of the Year by the Pro Bono Partnership of Atlanta (PBPA), one of Georgia’s Top Rated Lawyers in 2019 by ALM and Martindale Hubbell, and a member of Georgia Trend’s Legal Elite.
Glenn has extensive experience in handling corporate mergers and acquisitions, as well as managing various business contracts, such as buy-sell agreements, franchise agreements, beta and licensing agreements, and employment/independent contractor agreements. He is also well-versed in alternate dispute resolution, both as a participant and as a mediator and arbitrator.
Before founding MacGregor Lyon, LLC, Glenn practiced commercial litigation at King & Spalding, LLP in Atlanta and was employed as general corporate counsel for Cedar Consulting Group, an international information technology consulting company based in the United Kingdom and nationally in Baltimore, Maryland.
In his free time, Glenn enjoys playing guitar and spending time with his family and dogs on Lake Sinclair near Milledgeville, GA. He and his wife (who took the picture) live in the Upper Westside area of Midtown with their two sons and two dogs.
